Overview

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our development department in Oslo, Norway.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with a programming language (Python, Java or C#) and possess professional knowledge of at least one DevOps framework, Git, databases, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with infrastructure tooling like Spinnaker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and expertise in JavaScript and React development are highly valued bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions. 
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and React as necessary. 
• Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance the development and deployment process. 

• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code repositories. 
• Design and optimize databases for performance and reliability. 
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes and other container orchestration tools. 
• Explore and implement best practices in software development and stay up to date with emerging technologies. 
• Contribute to the overall success of projects by ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions. 

• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java or C#. 

• Professional knowledge of DevOps pipelines. 
• Professional knowledge of Git, databases, and Kubernetes. 
• Proficiency in English & Norwegian (minimum B level proficiency)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
